Student’s project from the University of Coimbra distinguished by the Order of Architects

The Order of Architects has distinguished an intervention project for the Monsanto Castle carried out by Joana Ferreira. The young woman is a Master’s student at the Department of Architecture of the University of Coimbra.

“The study, entitled ‘The Surroundings of Monsanto Castle: A proposal for Intervention’, was carried out as part of the student’s master’s degree dissertation, supervised by Luís Miguel Correia”, the institution revealed.

The jury explained that this study corresponds “to an investigation around the project, revealing high competences of methodological reflection and domain of the project process”.
