Summary, an architecture studio created by Samuel Gonçalves, a former student of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) was distinguished in the “Best New Offices 2021” list of ArchDaily.
Composed of 16 international experts, the jury highlighted the “balance between pragmatism and experimentalism” of the studios on the list. It considers the winners “catalysts of change”.
The studio created by Samuel Gonçalves under the UPTEC’s School of Startups aims to respond to the challenges of now in the area of architecture, optimizing time and resources.
This is not the first time Summary has been distinguished. The author of the installation that travelled to the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2016, had already won a Dezeen Awards, in the category “Emerging Architect of the Year”, in 2020, with a building built in Vale de Cambra. In 2018, he joined the “Europe 40 under 40” list.
