ISEG hosts the Annual INFER Conference, the largest in the field of economics

On September 8, 9 and 10, ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management hosts the annual conference of INFER – International Network for Economic Research, which takes place in partnership with REM – Research in Economics and Mathematics.

After having made an open call for papers in research areas related to economics, ISEG finally gives stage to the chosen ones and opens space to think these areas. Among the conference topics are Finance, Economic Development, Economic Development and the History of Economic Thought, Entrepreneurship, Industrial Organization, Wine Economics and Sports Economics and Olympic Games, among others.

The conference, which features leading names such as Carlo Favero (Bocconi University), Volker Vieland (Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability) and Marco Vivarelli (UniversitĂ  Cattolica del Sacro Cuore), is open to economists, but also to young researchers, post-doctoral students, professionals in the field and governmental and non-governmental institutions.
